Lets get personal here, these past few years have been intense! I said at the beginning of everything that people were going to come out of this either, fat, in the best shape of their lives or pregnant. Yeah, you know what I’m talking about.
All of that is physical, it’s mostly superficial, and it’s the outcome of how we organize our internal thoughts throughout the day.
I wasn’t expecting the internal self thoughts that occurred, no i’m not talking schizophrenia but I am talking how we talk to ourselves throughout the day.
“You are a loser”
“You’re so fat”
“You’re never going to get better”
“This is your life now”
“Sit down Shut Up and accept it”
THAT type of self talk…
Some days they were better, some days they were worse. But you know what it was…Holding me back! It was almost as if I was self sabotaging to make an excuse as to why I couldn’t do something or get something done. Let me explain.
I was in some circumstances making myself circle into my pattern of:
Get excited over something ——-> Give it my all ———> Expect instant results TOO fast ———-> Self sabotage talk ——-> See, you are Never going to get better ——–> Motivation dwindles ——–> See I told you so internal dialogue.
This can happen to all of us! It’s normal, it’s not healthy, but it’s normal.
Where have you done something like this in your life?
Have you been able to catch yourself before self sabotage occurs?
So, I got fed up! And I told myself to Sit Down-Shut Up. I am my own Boss. I manifest the days I want, I draw up my internal dialogue and those bad little chats are in time out. No more.
Your Goals and your Dreams are just that, yours. Do not get in your own way of obtaining them. Silence that bad internal dialogue and shove it in the corner, out of the way. It’s a distraction. A purposeful distraction you created to step on your own toes.
STOP it.
Instead of those bees in your bonnet circling around like that let the thought empower you. Thoughts like:
“You are the only You there is”
“You are Amazing!”
“You are unique”
“You have a gift!”
“Love your life!”
“I Accept Love, Health and Abundance in my life, no more no less!”
This is so easy to say and even harder to practice. Embrace the journey. Be excited for what is to come. Once you can organize your internal thoughts throughout the day the rest will come much easier. Dip deeper to get deeper to have that life you really want and desire.
So if its weight you want gone, start with that self talk, then add in a little challenge for 1 week, 1 month, 3 months. We will talk more about what’s the best challenges to do for 1 week 1 month and 3 months on a later post. For now tell that internal negative dialogue to Sit Down-Shut Up-Accept it because the boss is in charge and that Boss is YOU.
